I decided late last year that 2026 will be the year I release a game on steam. And I know we're only a week in, but I'm still very excited to work hard and make that happen. Getting started with some prototyping while also looking into marketing strategies.

Do other #indiedev s appreciate a robust branching strategy for their source control? Our general plan is to develop features in named feature branches, merge them and do integration testing in dev, and then put release versions into main.

Played some Jump Ship with friends tonight. Got some achievements and progress. And then ended the night sitting back and relaxing and listening to music at the hangar.

Another example of the "rich" get "richer" is that I get an email with some regularity from one of my credit cards letting me know that they'd give me $900 if I make a bank account with them and maintain a balance of $15,000 in said account. Do I look like I have that kinda money to just leave idle?

Do you have any songs that when you hear it on a streaming app it always sounds weird because you had a cd of it that skipped at specific spots and you just got so used to it skipping there that it not skipping sounds weird?
