I've seen it too, though I'm kinda surprised the biggest franchise is cutting those kinds of corners. Usually its to reduce back and forth revisions when there's ridiculously tight deadlines and sometimes an outsourcing language barrier involved.

While I know tons of incredible game artists I sadly never paid too much attention to their waterpainterly work.

Mr Beast’s recent failed attempt to sell AI YouTube thumbnails shows that creators want art made by real people. Don't replace experienced professionals with a colorful slot machine. In light of that, I'd like to remind you that I'm available to make custom illustrated thumbnails!
