I gave up on apps a few years ago because I'm demi but my experience with Tinder was that most couldn't hold a conversation either, regardless of gender. As for Grindr, I didn't trust it not to be infested with homophobic predators and cissexist arses so never tried it. OkCupid was my go-to.
