I'm still trying to figure out why credit for this assist was taken away from Alyssa Thomas last night, which would have resulted in yet another triple-double for AT. #wnba

Have to feel for the Lynx. This is where the US sports system always ends up feeling unfair. Might build to a crescendo and a dramatic finish, but Minnesota were the best team this year. Won't win a championship. Won't even get to play for one. Hard to take. #WNBA

They call it tight and the complaint becomes "let them play." They relax those calls and players inevitably start mugging each other because they can and it's "refs need to get a hold of the game." The main constant is the complaining.

I spoke to Stewart about this very conflict in September of 2024, but this convo didn't make it into my story.

But @emilyadler.bsky.social's reporting shows that Stewie wants to take some action and might have found a solution. When I spoke to her, she was still trying to figure out one. ⬇️

Show this to certain folks (you know who) and ask them if they can identify & articulate WHY they're so committed to spreading a lie...

Angel Reese leads the WNBA in rebounds with JUST DEFENSIVE BOARDS.

Her 176 D rebounds > second place Azura Stevens' 172 total rebounds.

Including playoff games, there were nine triple-doubles over the WNBA's first 24 seasons (1997-2020).

There have now been nine triple-doubles since the start of the 2024 season.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud, but just saw that Drake is going off at +3500 for making a guest appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show. Seems like the payoff for an event that would cause the internet to explode should be a tad bigger?

Since the 09-10 season, just three times has a player finished with 25+ points, 10+ boards, and 5+ assists against UConn.

Hannah Hidalgo is responsible for two of those three games. #ncaaw
