Tanners dissertation looks at speciation in both anole lizards and heliconia butterfly species, looking at potential factors of species such as geographical or ecological isolation🦎🦋

Tanner used and contributed #aumnh specimens during his PhD. He has been awarded funding through the Meredith Ann Birchfield Endowed Fund for Excellence for his research and has contributed over 30 hours to Museum outreach!

My dissertation is focused on the evolutionary relationships and taxonomic uncertainties within the freshwater fish genus, Rhinichthys across North America using molecular and morphological approaches 🐟🐠
