During the setup, the laptop reaches out to whatever to get the profile installed but that returns a 400 error. That’s the issue. I don’t care if the remote management is on there, but I can’t even install it.

Anyone know how to remove remote management from a 10 year old MacBook? I can’t reinstall OSX until I get a signal from a former company, but I think the server they ran is shut down so now my laptop is bricked :(

It’s a fantastic controller, I’ve loved mine the last 5 years. Highly recommended.

2.0 is backwards compatible with 1.4, but if the card, or cable, can't handle 2.0 and are 1.4, that might be why.
