If it’s your PB, then it should be celebrated with your whole heart! Only one person can have a WR, that doesn’t invalidate anyone else’s speed runs. Congratulations on submitting a time, that takes a measure of courage. Good luck in future runs!

Over a year looking for work, six first interviews in that year, two went to the second stage. I've stopped counting how many jobs I've applied to, there's no point.

So yeah, I'm not as 'happy' on stream as I used to be. Yeah, I'm more 'jaded' and 'angry', because I'm tired. So very tired.

I think it’s good and important to spread the word about companies that are doing bad things and offer people alternatives to those companies that aren’t evil. I also think shouting “cancel that!” “Stop using that!” “Why are you still on that!” isn’t a great way to help ease people’s transitions.

In social movement studies, we talk about how marches and protests expand the threshold of acceptable risk so that people take more and bigger social risks IN PUBLIC, EN MASSE. This is extremely important for the bourgeois white folks holding signs and building social rapport.

I've never thought about this, but yeah, this is what I did when I was married. If anyone wanted to do anything, I'd say talk to Sarah, including birthdays. I didn't with cleaning and grocery shopping, though; those were fine.

I only faced that after the divorce; that's when I was diagnosed.

😳

Double Dragon 3: The Arcade Game (Genesis/Mega Drive)

Without question, the worst game I've ever finished. I don't like a lot of games I've finished but that doesn't make them bad games, they just weren't my cup of tea e.g. Ocarina or Majora's

But this pile of hitbox missing garbage is bad bad.

We’ve gotten a lot of questions about viewership and the impact of our viewbot mitigations. And, we’ve heard from some creators that they’ve observed unusual drops in their viewcounts. When we made updates to our viewbot detection tools earlier this year, our goal was to make sure that viewcounts represent actual viewership, and aren’t artificially inflated in any way. Having accurate viewcounts is important for streamers who are trying to build their audiences, and for the livestream industry more broadly.

We recognize that for a lot of our creators, Twitch is a livelihood, and we don’t take that lightly. Addressing viewbots is a balancing act — we want to identify artificial views without affecting real viewers, and that’s a constant tension. We continue to evolve our systems to get better at spotting and removing viewbots, while making sure we’re counting real views accurately. We really appreciate the feedback and questions, as they help us keep improving how we do this.

We’ve seen a lot of different theories about why some viewcounts may have shifted and want to address some of the most prominent directly.

There’s been a lot of conversation about how lurkers are counted. A lot of factors can impact viewership over time, including ad blockers, seasonality, and whether you recently hosted an event on your channel. After some investigation by our teams, we’ve identified one factor that may be impacting several streamers:
Some viewers use third party browser extensions to view streams.,
For example, with one plug in, you feed in your Twitch follower list, and when a streamer from that list goes live, the plug in opens a tab for that stream.
For years, we’ve counted a limited number of sessions per IP address towards viewcount. If you have a lot of streams (more than a normal viewer could reasonably watch) open in many different tabs, our systems may determine you are not actively watching, and you will not be counted in any of those streams as a viewer.

If you lurk more than a couple of streams, you won't be counted as a viewer in any of them.
