Today happens to be National Squirrel Appreciation Day 🐿️

At this time of year, a lot of squirrels have forgotten about their nut stores, which is great news for trees! You might even see some new tree shoots soon, thanks to their forgetfulness!

You may not have known that today is World Soil Day, but we want to celebrate how vital soil and green patches are to local communities.

Without soil on and near our roads, we would be more susceptible to flooding in the winter, as urban soil does an incredible job of collecting rainwater runoff.
