It’s a real shame. I was planning to catch an England or France match at the World Cup finals. I’m hoping France will play in Canada.

Given the disgusting behaviour of USA supporters at the Ryder cup, does anyone support international sporting events in Trump land?

Trump says World Cup matches might have to be relocated for unsafe cities in the USA. Given there are more guns than humans there, perhaps the safety of all teams and fans would be to cancel the USA matches and move to Canada and Mexico.

Is Nigel Farage a racist? Here in France he backs them. At the the last Presidential election he considered Le Pen too left wing and supported Eric Zemmour who was convicted of racism, not once but twice in 2011 and 2018. He appealed those convictions to the ECHR (the irony eh Farage?) and lost.

Sorry to hear that. On the metro last week there was an American mother and adult son speaking in whispers. Unfortunately a French middle aged woman confronted them about Trump in French. I explained to the woman, in her language, that @ 70% of Americans didn’t vote for Trump.

In the year after Nelson Mandela’s election I worked with the ANC in South Africa to provide a fairness in local elections for the Boer farmers. We achieved a consensus thanks to the current President of South Africa. What Trump and Musk did today was a disgrace.

I’m off to Zagreb in a few weeks time. One of the few European capitals I have yet to visit.
