You know what is a weird thing I miss about regular TV seasons?

Obligatory seasonal holiday episodes.

Like, no one dropping 8 episodes in July is going to give you an unhinged Halloween ep, a totally inappropriate murder on Christmas ep, and probably some weird Valentine's Day nonsense.

The cases are very similar so you’ll be spoiled for those. The more interpersonal mysteries are also similar but we’re at the beginning of s2 with already some diff so idk how spoilery that would be

I think that could be attributed to the cultural differences in the way the interpersonal relationships interact. Let me know what you think once you get around to it!

The US characters are more quirky, and the show feels a little lighter (to me). Whereas the French one is a tiny bit darker I think (but that might just be me being American). I think both shows just adapted their version to their culture. As to the smartness of the French one?

I have seen it! It’s on hulu dubbed in English and in French with English subs (which is how I’ve been watching it so I could get the full French feel of it😆) I like it. The US version didn’t stray too far from the original. I think the diff is in how the characters come across.

Everytime I see someone say the French high potential is smarter than the American I wonder if they think that because the French one is in FRENCH so it SOUNDS smarter to THEM
