British, proud father, writer, left leaning politics. I just want to live in a fairer, friendlier world.

I think the concessions that Russia makes should include pulling out of allUkrainian territory it's illegally occupied, including Crimea, paying full reparations for all the damage they've caused and giving full cooperation to the International Court of Justice in prosecuting Russian war criminals.
15.01.2025 16:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are a lot of anti right wingers posting as if labour are worse than the Conservatives in everything they do. OK, Labour aren't perfect, and they've done some 'strange' things, but they're a damn site better than the tory wreckers. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
15.01.2025 14:18 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So Musk's a criminal too. (Allegedly)
Who would have thought it.

15.01.2025 11:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Your continued abuse puzzles me. I'm really sorry if something has upset you so much today that you feel you have to lash out at me. It is quite out of character with your posts.
15.01.2025 09:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've read the posts on your profile. You seem perfectly sensible and stable, and we share the same viewpoint. I too am a big fan of George Monbiot and anti neoliberalism. Given that, I don't understand the 'foaming from the mouth' invective from you. What have I said to offend you so much?
15.01.2025 09:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks for calling me a fool. Does name calling make you feel better?
While it is true that in the last Government only guilty people resigned, it is crass stereotyping to judge that all MP's are the same. Are you familiar with the principle of 'innocent until proved guilty'? Or doesn't that apply?
He sounds like he's channeling Michael Gove π
15.01.2025 08:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Let's be clear about this. She has not been accused of anything. Her aunt has. She has been named in an investigation, but not accused of involvement. She might have been, but she might not. Hysterical misinformation like your post is the kind of toxic rubbish that has poisoned X.
15.01.2025 08:15 β π 23 π 3 π¬ 5 π 0Do you actually think in gibberish or do you just write it? Or, as I suspect, are you just an inarticulate bot?
14.01.2025 14:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0It's in Jenrick's character to ask effectively, why hasn't this government in the six months they have been in power fixed all the damage his government - which Jenrick was an MP of for 10 years - caused by their bumbling incompetence and inaction, spending all their energy in backstabbing and graft
14.01.2025 14:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That'll be handy when I plan to Manchester next week.

14.01.2025 13:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you don't want Bluesky to turn into X, don't post bollocks based on half understood, half arsed ideas you've heard from your mate in the pub or read in the press who are more interested in misinformation for political reasons than informing the public.
13.01.2025 14:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0AI uses a lot of processing power and electricity, which is why Milliband's remit is to ensure that there is enough clean energy available with connections to the national grid for new data centres.
13.01.2025 14:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0An awful lot of comments from people who know nothing about the subject. The world's leading AI company, Deepmind, is based in the UK. It was founded in here, bought by Google - but still here. A major part of MS AI is based in Cambridge (the UK one). The UK is 3rd in the world in AI.
13.01.2025 14:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Before this sudden outbreak of faux rage, in seven years as an MP for the ruling party, did you once bring this up in the House of Commons?
Kemi Badenoch didn't.
Did you once call for the Government to implement any of the recommendations of the Jay report?
Kemi Badenoch didn't.
Opportunistic crap.
I had an excoriating review from an Australian author.
I was going to buy one of his books and slag him off, but having read the synopsis and some of the less flattering reviews for it, I decided not to waste my time on the aresehole.
I'm prepared to name him if anyone wants to know
There seems to be growing global consensus that under the incoming administration, America is becoming the common enemy.
On the upside, it could lead to a coming together of all other nations.
You mean Musk and his stooge, Trump.
11.01.2025 12:58 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He has admitted he is 'autistic', but being neuro divergent is not being 'retarded'. He is clearly very intelligent. He is equally clearly an extraordinarily pathetic piece of self-serving, misogynist, arrogant shit, with no regard to the truth and no respect for anyone but himself.
10.01.2025 18:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'just seen the latest YouGov poll asking about climate change. It makes interesting reading - especially that 41% of Reform respondents think that 'Climate change is not an issue.'
I don't have a high opinion of Reform, but I'm surprised at just how monumentally stupid they are.
So Musk is talking bollocks.
What a surprise.
Hats off to the Beeb for doing the work to prove it. It's a shame that the moron's even more moronic followers won't read it.
This would be sad if it wasn't funny.
Lettuce Liz is kidding herself if she thinks she would win a law suit.
How long until Musk calls for their assets to be released?
Or, offers them millions to pursue their political objectives.
Maybe both.
He is determined to stamp out the axis of evil between Greenland and Panama and end their reign of terror which threatens the very existence of the free world. Seig Heil, Trump, our saviour!
