Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.

Another thought (sorry not sorry, processing out loud) SO MUCH of the past few decades has been dominated by right wing money spent to overturn leftist progress...just one long reaction to the social movements of the 60s and 70s. You see it even in the names (see next)

For years I’ve watched feminists try and raise awareness about the unrestricted mass influence of incel culture, Andrew Tate, and reactionary misogynistic rhetoric. And now some Dems are saying the problem is identifying “toxic masculinity” too much. I actually think it’s the opposite!
