As a Kings fan, is it wrong I was looking forward to watching Wembanyama today more than I was to watching the Kings?
I’m bummed he’s out.

Remember at the trade deadline DeRozan has a little less than 9.2 owed to him for the rest of the season
That is a small price to pay for a team who needs a hired gun to have a shot at a championship.
He is also only guaranteed 10.0 for 26-27 making him easily to trade or cut for new team.

Like the championship window for the starting five can only be measured in weeks instead of years.

Our point guards are throwing up over 21 shots per 48 minutes.
They are taking over 23% of the shots.
Historically, they are both bad shooters.
They have got to dial it down to 14 per 48.

I just realized if we had never traded Fox we would not have had Fox Sabonis or Murray to start the season. With no trade Zach would not be here.
If we never traded for Sabonis, Halliburton would be out all season.

I think the future is clear; DDR is traded by this ASB Zach by the 26-27 ASB. Sabonis by the start of the 27-28 season at the latest
The rebuild has begun but the first watershed moment will be DeRozan.
I wish them/us luck.
