I'm like this with eyeliner, I used to put it on every time I wore makeup but panicked this past Halloween when I put it on because I hadn't done so in like a year 😅

Ah that sucks! I've left the same jewellery in for ages (except changing the bar and backs) and I can't wait until I can change it out more!

My piercings have been a nightmare when healing!
My advice would be to go back to your piercer and see if there's anything they can suggest or change the jewellery in some way.
Also some people heal much slower! I'd say give it more time if you can 🤞
