I agree with Gugu. Its clear from what you share about her that she's a very switched on cookie; but schooling systems generally don't allow everyone equal opportunity to demonstrate it. Encourage her to be who she is, not who the teachers think she should be.

This was exactly why I never bothered with Threads. I'm on FB & Insta already, why do I want to see more of the same? The original appeal of Twitter for me, was its originality and in particular the ability to obtain news or emergency updates in bite size chunks so to speak.

@support.bsky.team definitely a glitch. Ever since I followed the link to this person's profile from Twitter, his page is my landing page. I've tried unfollowing, closing the app, then opening again. I haven't tied logging out because I can't for the life of me remember my password to log back in 🫣

Just to add to this, tapping the 'home' or any other icon at the bottom makes no difference; only way I can get out of it is to press the back button, or my profile pic - which then takes me to my profile page and from there I can get onto the normal TL.

OK so here's an odd one. Every time I hop onto this app, the landing page is now that of someone I follow, vs a normal feed. I like the guy, but it is a bit annoying. Any ideas how to fix this glitch? @bsky.app

"Surprising" 😂 To some, perhaps, but I know from my own experience of keeping timesheets & working ridiculous hours in spates of activity that my productivity dips between Mon & Thurs and that I can sustain a 10 hour day provided that I get sufficient rest every few days or so.

One of my favourites is 'apropos'. Everyone has to look it up every time I use it.

Ditto. It's like November never even happened...even my mom's birthday, which I would have liked to have marked in some way, flashed by in a blur...

Literally clawing my way, deadline by deadline, day by day, hour by hour...it doesn't help that I had to pull a spate of 14 hour days recently to meet deadlines and that depleted my last reserves...

The 14th absolutely cannot get here fast enough.
