On this week's #screenshotsaturday, I want to showcase some of my pixel art on simple boxes. The challenge of those objects is making sure the viewer understands what the object is about without a clear and obvious shape. Fun but hard!

For this week's #screenshotsaturday, I added some facial expressions and some different skin colours for our characters! They are now even more unique and expressive.

For the straight up pixellisation and other stuff, I render in Unreal Engine 5 (where we're doing our game), I use a few shaders (Cel shading for the characters, some PSX effect and other stuff).

As everything else there's a lot of tutorials, you just need to know what you need to learn.

Blender has a lot of ressources, it needs some time to get used to but when you get the hang of it it's pretty good. I usually model and do my UVs there.

For the textures I recommend Pixel8er for substance painter. It's what I use and I really enjoy it! Painter is pretty pricey but you can crack it

I'm back for this week's #screenshotsaturday with more heads for the customers! The game now has around 100 characters now thanks to my modular system.

The horror part of the game is also getting started (though I won't show it for now).

We can also throw items now, so I've started to bounce items on a wall and catch them which feels quite nice. My highscore is 4 without it touching the ground.

For this week's #screenshotsaturday, I want to show how our #indiegame is coming along. The store now has fridges, customers can roam and shop and you can serve them! The base for a convenience store is set.

Our game is starting to shape up!

This week, I worked on a proper Cel-Shading for the characters in our #indiegame. The shading now feels better! Here's the result with and without the pixelated post-process. I also worked on some more objects for the level.
