My experience with DayLITE I apologise if this doesn’t make sense, it has been a very stressful, sleep deprived weekend of dealing with Cam’s actions. I wasn’t going to make this post originally because I thought I’d gotten off...

This isn't everything, but this is the account of what happened in the past few days with DayLITE/Cam from my experience because it needed saying

I haven't worked for Daylite in a year. My former contact with Cam was just so I could guarantee id finish being paid, but Cam blocked me so I assume I'm not getting my money. My heart goes out to the people that experienced the sexual harassment from him he deserves to be called out for his actions

When the truth of it is Daylite sales are so bad that hundreds of artist created thousands of dollars worth of work and got pennies for it. All we got was an apology and then an invite to a server where Cam could get more free art by labeling it a passion project. which is slime ball shit (4/4)

Cam used artists with small followings, little industry experience and a passion for ttrpgs to get free art, writing, and ideas to churn out content under the promise that their work will turn into livable passive income based on royalties so that they were fine not being paid upfront. (3/4)

I waited a good several months with nopayment but got an invitation to an rp server that I did not participate in. Months after that I askd for my payment and was given $50 on two separate occasions. Cam still owes me $185 dollars as well as a lot of artist money for the work he scammed (2/4)

As someone who has worked for and is still owed money by Cam / Daylite this shit tracks. I did work for Daylite to get into doing art for the TTRPG community and created $285 worth of work that only ever made me $2 in royalties. When Cam got called out he agreed to pay me the $285 (1/4)

I never thought this would spread. I have made a Google doc with all of the evidence and my story. I do consider you read it to get context of what happened with him.

As of today I will no longer be associated with DayLITE. Due to recent private events regarding actions caused by them I have cut ties. While I did a lot of work with them all the work I did I will be using for myself and my own personal ran projects
