Thank you! I use a machine that grinds away the stone to the shape and polish I want.

When we cut stones closer to size prior to this point using the saw, we keep all the little tiny bits that come from that for my dad who puts them in little jars lol

Rose quartz number 2 of the day

It would have turned out better but the machine flung it and it cracked a bit. Otherwise turned out alright.

Only a bit bummed about that.

Rose quartz number 1 from yesterday. First stone I've done in a while (6mos or so), and the first one I did at the new house w/ the new set up.

What a commitment to the bit lol (I think she was serious and it might not have been a bit, but still). I do understand where she is coming from. I do not think Bradbury or his work gets even close to the amount of love he deserves lol.

This made my day. I had to find out whether he saw this before he passed and according to lots of people and wikipedia.. he did.. and he loved it. That is all that matters.

Why, yes, I *do* collect Ray Bradbury everything. This is just a portion of my collection. I still have lots to unpack.. I can't wait for my real shelves so I can have all his works displayed. 1 tote down about 6 more + 10 boxes to go lol.
