Brown University rejects Trump’s higher education ‘compact’ - The Boston Globe Students at Brown, MIT, Dartmouth, other elite schools on Wednesday sent a joint statement pressuring their universities not to sign Trump’s compact as well.

In a statement, White House spokeswoman Liz Huston did not directly respond to Paxson’s rejection of the compact, but said Trump was “committed to restoring academic excellence and common sense at our higher education institutions.”

Neronha suggested the governor’s job was not one that he longed for, telling the Globe, “I like being the hunter, not the hunted.”
