I wish the world was safer for everybody.

I really wish people would think about using words like 'barbarian' to describe the actions of the Taliban in Afghanistan. We can call them misogynist, religious fundamentalists, and fascist, without playing into Orientalist tropes of being backwards and primitive in their bigotry.

It is weird to not get a response to your messages. Very weird.

Today marks 40 years since the worst industrial disaster ever.
And the victims and survivors of the Bhopal gas tragedy have never had justice. The Union Carbide factory area is contaminated to this day.

I wish apart from chasing people at work I didn't have to chase people for my podcast. It gets tiring. But that's life.

I have to go to drop mom at her baking class too. She is excited about attending a professional class. She's 70 and still learning. I love her energy and the will to learn every day.

I hope I record at least one episode today.
