Initial art ideas for all the minor arcana cards.

Here are the main "themes" for the art of the minor arcana cards. I really want these cards to have multiple interpretations so these key themes are just a starting point for me when designing the art. The essences at the bottom help with thinking about what the art should be to.

I think, this is my final breakdown of the minor arcana cards for my tarot deck. Though this will likely change as I begin actually drawing them. I attempted AI assistance but it felt icky and sad so I'm probably going to hand draw all 78 cards in this deck!

Hector, BLeeM & BDG is a glorious cross pollination of my preferred content streams and I cannot believe how lucky I am. What a time to be alive!

Quick tarot designs update. Now on version 8 of minor arcana. Suits are Hearths, Storms, Forests and Elements. Art maybe a mix between finer liner illustration and those cool dream cards from Mysterium! Here's a few pics of the 3rd of Hearths.

I started making weird films in my early 20s and older friends of mine said my films reminded them of Inland Empire and thus began my love of David Lynch. Cheers for all you did for the world David.

Midjourney made the illustration, it took ages as usual to find the right vibe, I liked this one mainly because of the right characters in the background and Thaelab's eyeline was correct.

And here's the whacky 1980s cartoon version which sets more of the vibe of my actual playstyle during the game. Thaelab is Fox in Arabic and Inkstep is just a cool way of saying cartographer!

With the help of some machine learning image diffusion I had a blast the other day creating a book cover and cartoon version of a new DnD character I'm playing with my usual lot. They are called THAELAB INKSTEP. They are a gnome monk cartographer and is dungeon smart and people dumb!

Here's the 1 of Sparks and the Adept(like a Knight) of Sparks. The suit of Sparks for me is about the mind as it's source of energy and ideas being it's voice. A lot of the art will be rooted in inspiration and education, but the art is open to the interpretation of the reader too.

I have been working on creating my own tarot deck for over two years, which is wild to think about. I'd like to start sharing more about it, and my art generally, so here goes. I'm currently designing the art for the minor arcana, which is a bit daunting but satisfying. This is the 7 of Sparks.

I'm fascinated by prompting MJ to diffuse complicated materials like transparent/translucent coats covering cybernetic/tattooed skin.
