Last private text between Lisa and her dad. I sent dad an Ellis Rosen cartoon of two seals surrounded by shark fins. The caption is “I always get anxious in groups.” My dad replies, “No problem. They’re all smiling.” I reacted with a ‘haha.’ ❤️

My dad has departed. 💔 He left us at 7:14 this morning as his wife and children (plus Brad 🥹) sang, read aloud, told stories, told bad jokes and laughed really hard - all things Dad loved to do. We also cried too loud, which he tolerated from each of us at one time or another.
