PRIME TIME is in the set?! I poured over the main set for a good bit over the past week, but somehow totally missed that the bonus sheet was present. I guess I thought it was Collector Booster only! Full of delights.

2-1 prerelease. Was undefeated until the last match, when I ran up against a rival Bahamut! Of all the ways to lose, that was a pretty silly-fun one.

I don’t think so - there were no style guides for artists this early in the game, so I think Anson Maddocks just went off. I’ve written the outline to a fanfic about this character, I love her so much…don’t know if I’ll ever follow through 😅. Neither the FE novel nor comics referenced her/this.

This card added the world “feral” to my vocabulary (easy, there, I was just 14). I’m surprised at how many of the 25 extant 6/3‘s I’m not only familiar with, but actively like!

Make sure other people are recommending it before you invest the time - I don’t wanna be solely responsible if you hate it 😅. It’s got some tiresome gender role stuff (princess is the healer, roguish lead guy always flirting, etc), but some good, more explicit commentary on stereotyping too.

Spindlewight! I know “recent” and “deep cut” have a negative correlation, but Keep Them Alive is a phenomenal gut-punch of a Magic story, and the beasties need more representation.
