I created this #zine about #OnaJudge. The Trump admin instructed NPS employees to remove exhibits at Independence National Historical Park related to slaves owned by Pres. Washington, who went to great lengths to keep his slaves as property, circumventing PA law.

Initially, I wanted to do this for Black August, but that observance has been pulled too far from its prison abolition origins and I did not want to stretch it further. And if you've been with me for a while yknow why I haven't been able to consistently put out a project.   For this 100th year of Black History being observed and acknowledged (what was once a week is now a month), I wanted to add to Carter G Woodson's intention:   Spreading knowledge of black people's storied history of resistance, be it armed with ideology, weaponry, or communal dynamics. There may be a highlighted group but this series is about the collective radical actions, events, and strategies of the entire Black Diaspora, beyond well known heroes. In a time of tumult, AI, and psuedo-history running wild, I hope you enjoy taking this trip with me into our shared heritage of resistance.

I'm doing a lil project I've wanted to do for years. I may be behind or late because of health stuff but i'll make it up! And I'll consolidate this each week or in March. HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH
