I believe it was heterogeneity in neuroimaging markers

~70M ppl/yr experience TBI globally, but most imaging tools don’t handle injured brains well. Let’s do better! If you develop a tool and want to see how it handles major structural deviations, reach out! The @enigmabrains.bsky.social TBI group has data and a strong desire to collaborate.

The audience overlap between neurotrauma and neuroimaging meetings is quite low and this really holds back research. TBI is a fascinating lens through which to examine other factors like aging, sex, psychological disorders, and early life stress.

Fascinating figure about heterogeneity but notice anything missing?

TBI. The heterogeneity of TBI blows the rest of these out of the water. Brain injury is underrepresented at #OHBM2025 as it has been in years past.

VA hospitals remove politics and marital status from guidelines protecting patients from discrimination Department of Veterans Affairs says the changes come in response to a Trump executive order β€˜defending women’

Your politics or marital status should never determine whether you get care.
But at VA hospitals, that’s now allowed β€” thanks to Trump’s rollback of anti-discrimination rules.
A gross betrayal of the very veterans who served this country.

HAPPY TAX DAY!
How much would you spend on a year of tornado warnings? The average US taxpayer spends only $4 a year to help fund the NWS. It’s a smart investmentβ€”every $1 invested in NWS yields approx. $73 in social benefits.
πŸŒͺ️❄️ Support science. Support the NWS.

Even more devastating is that it seems govt employees who have worked on ::banned topics:: are being doxxed. Self censoring feels like folding but above all you need to stay safe. Please consider removing banned terms from public profiles so no one can do a word search and link it to your picture
