The Weeping Wings- 2025

Early dawn sky with clouds shaped and unsettled by Hurricane Erin passing 300 km away. The scene is painted in muted purples, blues, and soft peach light. A delicate diagonal streak of pinkish-orange glow cuts through the cloud layers, like a faint rainbow fragment or beam, while darker cloud masses frame the bottom edge. The final shot of today’s spectacle, just seconds before the ray of light vanished. If #photography has taught me anything, it’s this: take the photo when you feel it, or when the light is right. Later it’s easier to decide whether it was worth it.

My pleasure

Hurricane Erin passed 300–400 km offshore, leaving a restless sky in its wake. Just before 6 a.m. the clouds tore open for a few fleeting minutes. When the light comes right, there’s no time to waste.
