Why are basically no politicians paying attention to this?

My hands cupping a generous handful of dark, crumbly soil, rich with organic compost. The soil is a deep brown textured with fragments of decomposed leaves and plant matter. It rests in the palms and fingers, slightly damp, showing structure and life. The background hints at an outdoor kitchen garden allotment, slightly out of focus - raised beds, autumn light, and the suggestion of recent digging. A year ago this soil was spent. I've worked in compost made from seaweed, chicken and cow manure, oak leaves and bracken. Now it’s rich, organic and full of life. It’s taken time, but it’s ready. Looking forward to planting into it next spring. #homestead 🚜🌾👨‍🌾🌿
