Whenever I make predictions on who’ll win a chess tournament, the universe collaborates in a way that sends that prediction into the sun. I don’t know why I thought my NHL playoff bracket would be exempt from this.

My chess tactics have gotten so rusty, it’s gotten to the point where when I open puzzle rush, I get a notification from chesscom saying “You sure? You sure you wanna do this? Maybe open a chess book or two before you start this?”.
