A screenshot showing BlastEm's emulation of the LaserActive main unit. Test mode has been entered causing a decent amount of text to be displayed via the character generator overlay and all front-panel LEDs have been turned on.

Not as exciting as having actual games working, but I've made a little more progress in my efforts to do LLE of the LaserActive hardware (what Nemesis released does HLE for all the hardware in the main unit). I've got IR input working, so you can now enter test mode

One of the most droolsome pieces of early 90s hardware. Laserdisc was a popular format in Japan, so it made sense to Pioneer to combine one with gaming hardware: in this case, plug-in Mega Drive and PC Engine modules.
