A lot of #sblaar is choose your own adventure, so I've almost exclusively been around great people and great scholarship/discipleship, but it's always jarring to walk past a display of books proudly declaring that I cut the image of God out of myself by accessing gender affirming care

An organizing intern with some unionization stuff with staff and hospital workers at UM (much closer to what I want to do after this degree!)

This fall, I'm neither teaching or really taking classes, just trucking on my diss thanks to fellowship. That being said, I AM starting a new job/internship, and this soft-launch of post-academic life is enough to make me REAL existential rn

When I briefly had an ADHD coach, she asked me what kind of task management I did. I had to confess that I used 5 types of calendars (3 printed) and I had to be told to cut back and combine them (which I thought was a unique experience but turns out is just a canonical event). Anyway I never did lol

I'm on 3 tw*tter-type apps now, and they've already adapted to fit different parts of my life. This app is mostly cool academics, tw*tter is labor organizing, and thre*ds is a bunch of old Christian friends that I never intended to interact with again but they friended all.
