21.11.2024 00:39 β π 2050 π 633 π¬ 61 π 89I recently rolled credits on Assault Android Cactus. 5 out of 5.
A very difficult but addicting twin stick shooter that I am so glad has extra modes like Campaign+ and Infinity. I plan on trying to unlock everything and getting S+ on each level. It will not be easy.
Got to see the new Nosferatu. 4 out of 5.
The composition and visual design are impeccable. The performers do an excellent job portraying the cerebral terror that a nightmare can convey.
Recently hooked up my old TV and og Xbox in my office, and that whole experience is a 5 out of 5.
The og Xbox is one of my favorite consoles of all time. I need to set up my Ps2 and Dreamcast, too. Best consoles.
Finished Ghost of Tsushima a few months back. 4 out of 5.
Sucker Punch is good at making games feel really clean and well-made. I legit thought the game had a morality system similar to Infamous. It does not.
I finished Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. 4 out of 5.
The magic of Star Wars has faded in my eyes, but this game was still a fun action/adventure game, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring and doing flips and shit.
Finished Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown around March of 2024. 4 out of 5.
I grew up loving most of the PoP games, and I do love a good metroidvania. I'm still thinking about the movement in this game. Also, you should crank up the difficulty cause the game is super satisfying on higher modes.
I finished Tears of the Kingdom in the summer of this year. 5 out of 5.
This game fixes pretty much every nitpick I have with Breath of the Wild. It's also a game that rewards creativity. I feel like people were pretty cold on this one after the dust settled, and that's a bummer.
Finished Call of Duty: World at War in November. 3 out of 5.
I could have sworn I never finished this one back in the day, but I guess I did. This era of COD was pretty good.
Finished The Last of Us Part 2 in August of this year. 4 out of 5.
A very well-made game that has some pacing issues and some dumb/ridiculous side characters. The ending is what makes the game worth playing, though.
I finished POSTAL: Brain Damaged in November. 3 out of 5.
A surprisingly well-made shooter that doesn't quite reach the cozy/dumb heights that POSTAL 2 reaches. A fun game.
I finished Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light earlier this year. Both are 3 out of 5.
Last Light specifically has a strange but kind of fun morality system that I think ensures a bad ending even if it feels sort of innocuous. I legitimately saved multiple people and animals, but that wasn't enough.
I finished The Mummy Demastered on Switch in October. 2 out of 5.
The music was cool, but I expected more out of the gameplay, and the upgrades weren't that interesting.
Okay, I'm officially going to use this as a video game log. I sincerely have the hardest remembering which games I've finished off the top of my head, so here we go.
