Eh, idk. I think a lot of people are learning about the plight of Palestinians for the first time and having an emotional reaction to it, and I'm not interested in quelling that reaction because what Israel is doing to Palestine is objectively evil. We should look to their other beliefs instead.

Yeah I guess so. Like, is this reaction coming from a place of wanting to be humble and learn from genuine other perspectives and rebuild aspects of our identities into something healthier for everyone? Or is it coming from people who just fundamentally hate Jews (and prob most other identities)?

But now I'm worried I'm getting to the point of falling for right-wing antisemitic opportunist talking points. And idrk what to do about that.

So my overwhelming impulse is to go the opposite direction and be extremely humble about my Jewish identity. Which means I heavily give people the benefit of the doubt re antisemitism, especially in convos related to Palestine and Jewish supremacy, and defend people from call-outs like this.

The thing I'm really struggling with as an antizionist Jew is like. Zionists are so goddamn full of themselves and genuinely do have a "we are Different than the others" mentality. I grew up around that shit and see exactly how it's lead our communities to support a genocide.

Those children are routinely sexually and physically assaulted and also emotionally tortured. They are fed terrible food and given barely any education. This country has done this for yrs.
