Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

Super relieved I managed to buy a car before the train goes fully off the rails next week (I.e. tariffs). Even more happy that I got a Hyundai EV which means I did my part to put Tesla further into the red. I’ve never felt like more of a patriotic American, except for maybe when I voted for Kamala.💪🏻

Republicans got it easy because they are following a Nazi cult leader who is bent on consolidating all the power in the government to himself. Once he’s successful in that, he no longer needs any support from the people. He can do what he wants and oppress who he wants.

Trump just wants to profit off the tragedy by helping Netanyahu stay in power and avoid prosecution. They are cut from the same cloth. More Gazans will suffer as a result, and it will spread across generations and decades after they’re all forcibly relocated.

I in no way defend Israel’s handling of the conflict. It’s horrific. I just think the US response to flood aid is in the desperate hope it will end it sooner. Israel is a solo actor here and Netanyahu should absolutely face justice for his crimes.

You apparently didn’t read what I wrote. We are their allies and the mission is to help them stabilize the region. We aren’t going to tell them how to do that, and we might not like their tactics. Doing nothing to help them is the worst option and would drag the conflict out for years/decades.

As much as I’d like this to be true, I can’t find any official reporting of it. The community needs to be careful not to spread disinformation when we tout that as a pillar we stand on and hold it over the other side.

If they say all immigrants are criminals, you say immigrants are the backbone of the economy and their labor brings down costs for you. Keep the message personal, avoid the social traps since that half of the country doesn't care about social issues. They only vote for their wallets.

We will never know, but certainly I hope the democratic party has learned that you cannot run on sound policy alone. You have to win the popularity contest. When the other side does nothing but lie, you have to counter it point-for-point.

Certainly they should never have let Biden step on that debate stage, and he should have never planned to re-run in the first place. Even in that case, not sure Kamala could ever have separated herself enough to gain enough support.

I think the real problem is she was VP for an unpopular president. I think Kamala would have made an excellent president, but I think the winning strategy was to go outside of the administration. It was their only chance to swing undecided voters, who ended up a no-show.
