the gameplay and story obviously capitalized and improved upon hades 1 but i found myself so touched by those little bits of care that supergiant is known for. from all the loving references to 1 littered throughout the game to athena saying “your brother’s favorite.” if you pick deflect dash

i saw an interview with darren korb where he mentioned this was the first supergiant game where they felt like there was enough left on the table to make a sequel and i’m glad they did it. it’s a very effective sequel in almost every regard

got to credits in hades 2. not done with it yet obviously but lovely game

i'm not saying this like i've somehow gotten worse at drawing, it's just that these designs have been in a perpetual state of flux for years and i have a hard time finding something more agreeable than this. this ever happen to anyone? hello? *my words echo throughout an unfathomably large cave*

i've drawn these ocs many times but for some reason i feel like i've never drawn them better than i did in this line-up from 6 years ago. anytime i try to play in the space a little it just sort of falls flat and i look at this and think "damn how'd i do that"
