Some of our senior & disabled clients remain without power. Here’s one of our Home Ambassador Sam, delivering Snow Meal boxes on her route, as we’ve done all week. The boxes include non-perishable food items that do not require electricity to prepare.

THIS is why we do it. "Ms. Elaine" (in her 80s) was stuck in her home with no power since Sunday - cold and scared. We got a call to check on her. Got her transportation to a church member's home where she's safe, warm & getting soft cuddles from "Bruce" who welcomed her in. #HopeAndHelp

When we know severe weather is coming, we go to work, making sure everyone is ready, safe, and has everything they need until the storm passes. For many, we're their only help in preparing for severe weather. We don't take this responsibility lightly! #HopeAndHelp

Our Winter Weather Response is activated! This week, Home Ambassadors delivering emergency meal boxes to seniors & disabled, social workers doing welfare checks (phone & in person) & responding to urgent needs (medicine pickup, heaters fixed, etc).

In observance of the MLK Day holiday, our office will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. We will reopen Tuesday, Jan.20, 2026.
