The trail you are following leads into a ravine. The walls rise to a height of 100’, made of dark streaked rock. At varying heights, you can see the black mouths of cave-like openings in the rock walls. This must be the Caves Of Chaos.

You almost missed it, but the smell pulled your attention. Behind some brush here is a little opening, a hovel that someone lives in! Someone who apparently doesn’t bathe often.

This home is in a huge hollow oak , the entrance to the hollow concealed by a thick bush.

Two Spiderlings hunt unsuspecting travelers. The dug out pits are lined with silk and the lids are carefully disguised. The Spiderlings feel vibrations from footfalls to snatch and drag prey into their lair.

A dirt mound the size of a small home looms above the grassy plains. New shrubs and plants grow over its top, showing its recent creation. The shadowed hole in the mound's side leaks a putrid aroma of rotting fish.

You stride through the great iron gates and beyond their towering stone walls. Immediately, you are hailed and halted by the corporal of the watch. He 'politely' collects any taxes before offering directions within the Keep.
