Today I went and saw Before Sunrise and Before Sunset back to back on the big screen. I cried throughout both. The scene that melts me every time is in Sunset when Celine talks about how she can never truly get over someone she loves. She perfectly describes my own experience with love and loss.

I felt a profound connection with these novels years before my autism diagnosis, all but one, We Have Always Lived In The Castle, I just read in recent months, and might be my favorite.
