I think the wrestling match I've watched the most is that pervert epic between Daisuke Sasaki and Danshoku Dino at Peter Pan 2018.

08.12.2025 02:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is so you and I love it. (And I was a big Sword in the Stone kid, too!)
08.12.2025 02:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How many times have I watched films I do love? More! Except for Sรกtรกntangรณ. I rarely have the time and fortitude to rewatch that.
08.12.2025 02:13 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It sure does! (That's a sweet one to get stuck on, though.)
08.12.2025 02:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I saw Titanic in theatres six times because my grandmother loved DiCaprio and she'd buy me pop and snacks if I went with her. I've watched it six thousand times more with my dad because he remembers I love the Titanic but not that I hate that fucking movie.
08.12.2025 02:04 โ ๐ 17 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0"Movies you've watched more than six times" means nothing to me. I'm autistic and I've had multiple close loved ones with dementia. I've seen Forsaken starring the Sutherlands like 304583490584 times because someone left it in my dad's room and that was all he would put on for six months.
08.12.2025 02:02 โ ๐ 25 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0And this one by the same filmmaker.
07.12.2025 20:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think about this short so often.
07.12.2025 20:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And if you've never heard of Tricky Woo, please do yourself a favour and click play on this.
07.12.2025 18:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Anyway, I really enjoyed the doc and have deemed it unintentional autistic culture for reasons I'll try to explain in longer form prose some time this coming week.
07.12.2025 18:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And this show hasnโt even touched on goalies!
07.12.2025 18:31 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Just watched the Tricky Woo documentary and realized i might owe my entire marriage to them.
07.12.2025 18:19 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I did see that, but theyโre calling everyone autistic!
07.12.2025 17:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There are a lot of things that various characters in Heated Rivalry do that the internet is very eager to label as autistic. But many of these behaviours could more accurately be ascribed to Being A Hockey Player.
07.12.2025 17:35 โ ๐ 15 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0That was so exciting! (And I love how the middle of our taste Venn diagram just keeps growing.)
07.12.2025 16:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I was always fond of Matthew Lillard. (SLC Punk was formative for me.) Then I interviewed him. Now Iโm borderline ride or die for the man.
07.12.2025 16:40 โ ๐ 16 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0The Bones of St. Nicholas is underrated, too. Really clever little romp.
07.12.2025 14:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Share a TV show you love with a great Christmas themed episode.๐บ๐
Inside No. 9 has a few great Christmas episodes. Go with Loveโs Great Adventure if you're in the mood for something less messed up, The 12 Days of Christine for an emotional gut punch, or The Devil of Christmas if you're me.
a screencap of the "I don't really care if something good happened to you. It should have happened to me instead"
Congratulations to everyone who lives along the Finch LRT!
07.12.2025 12:39 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Imagine getting worked by James Acaster punching a stuffed polar bear and gently shaking a tree before realizing it's not very stable and backing off.
07.12.2025 12:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, this team is in an arts league with a minimum age of 35.
07.12.2025 01:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Aaron praised the hockey banter in Heated Rivalry. Later, he told me that his team were discussing which of their favorite musical artists sound like MRI machines. Iโm not sure he has a solid understanding of normal hockey bants at this point in his life and rec hockey career.
07.12.2025 01:54 โ ๐ 9 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I guess my issue is that I don't understand how many people currently seem content to shut the whole conversation down and leave it at "some people are closeted and it's illegal to ask, so shut up about it."
06.12.2025 13:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Those are similar to my reasons for having no black and white opinion on queer roles. (And also part of why I don't have an issue with the gayness of some of the wrestling I watch. I assume there's a certain degree of don't as don't tell going on there.) But yes, stakes matter.
06.12.2025 13:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And again, I feel the same. I struggled a lot before I was finally diagnosed. I still struggle now, often for reasons related to those pre-diagnosis struggles. But I know that the kind of "help" that would have been available to me back then would have broken me. Maybe worse.
05.12.2025 21:57 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Friends, where (if anywhere) are we finding the best writing on autism and sexuality these days?
03.12.2025 18:46 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 2ok, how are you?
05.12.2025 21:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I feel the same way. For the same reasons.
05.12.2025 21:37 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The "harmful stereotypes" these influencers go on and on and on about are like three days old.
05.12.2025 21:37 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The other thing that pisses me off about this is that, until very recently, 99% of people would have said "you don't look autistic to the girls who looked like the imagine on the right. And I think the majority of people would still say that!
