Idk if this is a neurospicy thing, but I just realized why phone calls annoy me sometimes and I prefer texting. It's bc for me to be on a phone call and actively listening/paying attention, I can't do anything else. I'm unable to split my focus. But I can text and do any number of things.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I tend to ignore calls while at home, unless it's from family, because I dread having to answer it.

I have no problem answering them at work, however, because it's part of my job, so I'm used to it.

Texts are just so much easier to deal with...
