I figure there's always more features/bugs/updates to be added. I do worry people would hold features hostage for a ludicrous amount of money but who knows.

Haven't decided yet. We test with MsTest so we may end up switching to the built in assertions.

I've always wondered if open source could benefit from crowd funding.

Kinda like bug bounties. Hit funding goal x for feature y.

Superficially it sounds cool but I suspect it'd be easily abused.

$130 per dev is a wild pricing decision.

Fluent Assertions changing to a paid model is going to cause a lot of work for me and my team.
