I feel like we need a separate Internet that is completely free of AI, deepfakes, and engagement-driven social media. Basically, a way back machine that is constantly updated but which maintains the Internet experience as it was in like 2010.

I agree. Someone on Threads mentioned that Talarico took money from billionaire Miriam Adelson a few years back but Talarico said it was because he is supports legalizing gambling, opposing private school vouchers, and fully funding public schools. I don't think that is of as big of a deal.
