Three years of hard work & dedication was well worth it. Our Executive Police Leadership Program launched today! Together with York U’s Schulich School of Business & McMaster U’s DeGroote School of Business, we welcomed our 1st cohort for our intense 11-month program.

Our thoughts are with the Durham Regional Police Service officer who was seriously injured today responding to a call involving an armed person. We trust the officer will fully recover. This is an example of the dangers officers face in keeping communities safe across #Ontario.

It is with profound sadness that the OACP announces the passing of Retired Chief J.P. Levesque, formerly of the Thunder Bay Police Service.
