IMHO, FWIW: the later recording towers above the first go. Much fresher, more inventive, surprising: worth the recomp!

As if Ólafsson (have you heard his "Reflections" album?: makes clear his minor spectrum condition, hence also kinaesthetic sensibility & chromatic sense) has trekked towards ECM (Arvo Pärt?) & a music box .... & is contemplating an inner blizzard.
