We can't afford backsliding on air quality in Chicago.
That means we need bold action that confronts the reality of climate change, including:
🚏Expand bus lines
🚆Rehab aging El infrastructure
🚶Safer streets for pedestrians and bikers
🔌More public EV chargers

“We are excited to have recently announced new service enhancements on CTA’s Frequent Bus Network and the Blue Line—but making announcements is just the first step. We must be relentless about executing on these commitments to our riders. That is why I spent the morning talking with riders and employees about service delivery. Riding in from the Damen Blue Line stop and catching the J14 bus alongside fellow riders, I saw CTA's hard-working men and women in action, delivering for our city. Witnessing the expertise of employees at work across CTA is one of the greatest privileges of leading this agency. Seeing the full picture of the experience on CTA — and hearing from the people who deliver and receive it — provides me with invaluable information to continue to move CTA forward.” -CTA Acting President Nora Leerhsen
