A little BINGO ASMR from the HCAO Portland Chapter's Bing event, this last Saturday at the Leaven Community Center in NE Portland.

We were able to raise some money, join together in Community, and talk about cute plants.

Here is another look at the content of the editorial that our HCAO vice president Dr. Tony German shared with Oregon healthcare news source, the Lund report.

His message is some thing that we at healthcare for all Oregon have known and been working towards for the last 25 years.

Our Central Oregon Chapter Chair Nick Byron Campbell is a fantastic advocate with HCAO in the Bend area, and was featured on The Young Turks this summer! He's got a comprehensive knowledge of the work of HCAO, and the path ahead for the Universal Health Plan Governance Board this year.

We're mobilizing as many of our union friends as possible to join us on Thursday October 16th in Salem (and remotely) to share our public comments with the Universal Health Plan Governance Board.

Universal Health Care will mean big changes for your union in Oregon.

With this little bundle of joy's due date less than a year away, Oregonians still have the opportunity to tell members of the Board what they need in a new universal health care system before the September 15th 2026 deadline.

Why do you support universal health care?

We were so grateful to the students, elected officials, and health care advocates who were able to attend our 4th annual Garden Party on September 20th.

Everyone has a different reason to support universal health care. Our current system too expensive.

So many people we know can't afford the care they need.

Even with "good insurance", costs are skyrocketing. It's time for a change.

A system where are oldest and most vulnerable might still have an exorbitant. cost during their hospital visit is not a functioning system.

All members of hospital staffing are affected by struggling to work in our current broken health care system It's time for universal health care.

The fourth annual healthcare for all Oregon Garden party was this past Saturday at Bella Madrona Gardens in Sherwood. Before the music began, we chatted with one of the band members about why they were here, and why they supported universal health care in Oregon.

Housing is a key component of health care. People can only be healthy if they can be housed.

Members of the Marion-Polk County Chapter of HCAO had an AMAZING weekend back at the Salem Art Fair the weekend of Sept 12-14.

We gathered 300 signatures of new supporters, who are interested in an Oregon universal health care plan! 300 in a weekend! Pretty superb.

At this Sunday's HCAO Garden Party, we asked people why they were interested in universal healthcare, or if they have a personal story relating to health care that they would like to share.
Every persons story has a common thread, which is the dysfunction of our current healthcare system.

Our current healthcare "system" is convoluted, confusing, and burdensome.

People in Oregon should be able to access the care they need without the burden of dealing with out-of-state for-profit insurance companies that intentionally make the system hard to navigate.

Even with insurance, the care that Oregonians need still can still be incredibly expensive.

This is an interview with one of our marchers in the Portland Pride Parade, this last July in downtown Portland.

Health Care for All Oregon had a prime spot in this July's Portland Pride Parade.

Over 50 marchers volunteering to walk the parade, and many people interested in sharing their story about why they transition to universal healthcare is important to them.

We're preparing to dance our socks off at this year's Garden Party, at Bella Madrona Gardens on Saturday September 20th from 2-5 PM.

Do you think you can stop the snowball of Oregon's transition to universal health care? We doubt it.

The fourth annual HCAO garden party is this Saturday! Tons of food, drinks, live music, and people who are gathered together because they are fed up with our obviously unjust healthcare system.
