So, if I drop a little fire in my words, even in the fine print, know this, it's because I give a f**k, and that's never going to change.

While there is a time and a place for it, people don't often connect with scripts or sugarcoated fluff. They connect with real energy, raw conviction, and unfiltered words. That's just what sticks.

We spend so much time filtering words to fit a perceived definition of "professionalism" that we risk stripping out what makes us authentic and gives a company soul.

That sometimes means a well-placed expletive (or two). It's not about being unprofessional; it's about being real and getting a point across.

🗣️ Politeness is nice, but Impact is sometimes more efficient.

If I'm cursing, I probably care.

When I'm passionate about getting a message across, whether in my work or in conversations with people I respect, I don't water it down.

Tech has given us convenience, but at what cost? The moments between destinations matter just as much as where we're going. Maybe next time, I can convince everyone to ditch the headphones, grab the AUX (BT), and bring back the lost art of shared musical experiences.

Once upon a time, road trips were an event. Someone called DJ, and everyone in the car was locked into a shared experience, jamming out, debating over the next song, and making memories.

The car ride has become just another flight, where it's the norm to isolate.

🎵 The AUX cord is dead.

Before a recent trip to Totora, Bolivia, I put together a fire playlist, bangers, folkloric tracks, and just pure highway jams. It's the kind of mix that should've set the vibe for the entire ride.

And then… I looked around. Almost everyone had headphones on.

Ever had a chance encounter turn into something meaningful? Let's hear it!

Fast forward to today, here in South America. The plumber asks me what I do. This time, I own it. I explain our role in flight simulation at Parallel 42 and the joy it brings me.

His response? "My son builds custom flight simulators here in Bolivia."

That moment changed everything. How many opportunities had I ignored just to avoid a few awkward seconds? How many people out there actually get it, or better yet, work in a space that connects with mine?

Then one day, when I flipped the question back, their answer turned out to be a perfect business connection, one I would have completely missed if they hadn't been open about their work the way I wasn't about mine.

It didn't always feel like "real" work, so why explain it to get blank stares followed by "oh cool."?
