Welp, here's 2025's summary. Very happy with my improvemnt, especially in the last few months. It's the first time in a while I've felt not just content, but genuinely good about my art.

I hope 2026 brings good things to anyone reading this.

When I do pieces like this, I call it "cheating", but I cover most of the pic with a very low opacity layer to help set the mood, then erase the layer over characters or other things I want to emphasise.

mind you, I'm not a pro, i just do what i think works for me.

honestly, a good drink while lazing in a hammock in the woods sounds like a nice time. Not sure if I'd take a whole keg, but honestly, why not?
