Rachel Reeves is right that the world has changed - so why won’t she change her strategy to reflect it? Rigid adherence to arbitrary fiscal rules & refusing wealth taxes is a political choice that’s causing huge pain & harm, as well as laying out the welcome mat for the populists at Reform UK

Isolation is their aim, so leave them to squabble and fight amongst themselves and sink into their own oblivion

Wrote to ask Chris Chope to support rejoining Erasmus last year, but of course he couldn’t possibly support something run by the EU, he supported the Turing scheme.

My Brexit loving MP Chris Chope when he responded to my request via email said he preferred the Turing scheme over Erasmus as it was cheaper and global, not limited to Europe, but I wonder if by cheaper he means very few students are likely to qualify so virtually no one will benefit from it
