MUFC have a huge problem with selling players.

All a legacy of Woodward high wages and the players we bought care more about money than their playing time. I’d not loan without obligation.

It’s a World Cup year. If likes of Rashford, Antony, Sancho & Garnacho have a chance of WC they need to play.

On other hand I think you’ll see quite a few academy kids get some football here and there.

But I’m a firm believer that when it comes to United we are always at our best when we have home grown players in the squad.

I’m assuming our starting XI next season will be:

New GK
Yoro
DeLigt
Martinez or Mazaroui
Amad
Ugarte
Bruno
Dorgu
Cunha
Mbeumo
New ST

I know we just want best team possible but very sad for me that likes of Garnacho, Mainoo, McTominay etc won’t be around and playing big part next season.

For the first time in a long long time. United probably won’t have a regular starter that came from the academy. I know we produce many but it’s why likes of Mainoo & Amass really need looking after next year.

I think Wirtz is a top player but if you cost that much money you need to be putting up both numbers and major trophies.

One of the most disheartening things I see on MUFC social media is next season XI that do not include Mainoo.

Genuinely concerns me.

For me Yoro, Mainoo, Amad & Bruno should be your base and you fill in gaps around them.

The issue with Cunha and Mbeumo is that Mainoo & Bruno can’t be CM together

PSG were sensational last night but let’s not forget what they are. A Sportswashing entity.

They have largest wages in Europe for last 3-4 seasons, spent loads over last 12 years to get where they are.

Delighted for Enrique but I feel for Inter losing 2 CL finals to state backed clubs

Still a better chance than Delap getting them imo

I doubt that highly. Pele wouldn’t get 20 in this team

Over the years I said some would be a success at United and some wouldn’t.

I’ve been right and I’ve been wrong too.

But fairly convinced that Delap wouldn’t have got us 15 PL goals next season.

If he goes on to be the new Shearer I’ll hold my hands up but other than price, wasn’t that excited.

United really have to get the offloading right as much as in the incoming this summer.

Have to make sure those Amorim doesn’t want are gone.

Still think we did ok last night. They parked bus in second half and we just don’t have players to combat that.

So much needs to change and sadly I think that includes manager now.

If he’d have won players we needed were possible but now needs a morale lift

Not saying any of these managers are elite or getting us back to league or CL but would get more for sure.

This squad is a top GK & top ST away from a top 8 team playing 433 imo

I think there are 6-7 getable PL managers that would have got more out of these players.

I get he hasn’t had a window and his system needs his players but have to adapt. So far he’s shown no signs of being able to do that.

Losing tonight means quality of player he needs no unachievable too I fear

Odd but feels like game over here. Outside of set-pieces we just don’t carry any threat.

Goes without saying next goal is massive in this game.

Blimey. That is positive. I think if we win it’s by a single goal.

Longer the day goes the more I worry not only we’ll lose but it will get embarrassing.

Just hope we get first goal as think that’s our best bet

Well I’ll tell you what. If they are really committed to the long term with Amorim and accept pain for 1-2 more years what does it matter if we blow all money we have to spend on 2 maybe 3 top players.

Let’s say it’s Martinez, Wharton & Kane for example.

Then next summer do it again for a RWB & AM

Likes of Dorgu, Mainoo, Zirkzee off the bench.

In terms of defence I have no idea who is even fit.

If all fit then probably 3 of DeLigt, Maguire, Maz & Yoro start

Amad has to play but fact we’re struggling at RWB makes me tempted to play him there even though I’d prefer him further forward.

And then the question of whether to play Hojlund or not.

I think I would with Garnacho & Bruno behind and Amad and Shaw at wingback.

Asked earlier today what team I’d pick for tomorrow and I can’t decide what I’d do.

Sadly every team I seem to pick I think we’ll lose.

I think against Spurs you need some pace/threat in that RB/RCB area so for that reason I’d play Garnacho & Shaw down that side.

With Wharton we missed on Caicedo and Rice and cannot afford another.

If we sell one of Zirkzee or Hojlund then Delap too.

That is the sort of window we need.

I see reports of Cunha, Gyokores and Delap.

Unless we sell Hojlund and Zirkzee I just don’t see it.

Still think 65m is a lot for Cunha when players like Cherki are there for 20m.

I like Cunha as a player and he has attributes we don’t have but just worried how much of budget gone on him

A reminder that Manchester United have created 7 more big chances in the league this season than Forest but Forest has scored 16 more goals.

Yes need to create more but the biggest problem is finishing the chances

I mean we won’t spend much on transfers

Just feel if he loses there is no positivity going into summer.

Win it and think he stays but I’m not convinced it will get much better and that pains me to say
