fursuit making isnt a full time job for some hobbyists (like me), so this idea is more like... for that, honestly

The resulting heads are auctioned off at the end of the con, and/or the makers can keep or sell their end result

Its essentially a big stitch n bitch for fun & profit!

Fursuit Building Challenge Idea

FURSUIT JAIL: Makers are "locked in" with assorted bases & supplies, random fur scraps/colors/materials for 24 hours (or less) over the course of a convention weekend(?)

Food is ordered for them, ppl can watch them build, they can 'leave' to go to the yard (sleep)

Gonna try to make this little fella for local event suiting; bodysuit is on-order, just gotta make up the head/paws/tail... and I want to try the tail model for this, we'll see if I can get it printed properly, my printer is far too small for what I'm thinking...

Okay I think I've got it down pretty well...if anyone wants to give this a test print or a looksee, here's the OBJ file:

I would think so. You'd have to make sure the internals had some additional structure potentially to support the fur weight/stay upright, but I don't see why not...

Thinking about the structure and how light I can make it while ensuring it has the support it needs internally...

Just a quickie mock-up too... I'm thinking there may need to be some additional structure inside this tail, or thick walls, but I think it'd work out well...

thanksgiving fiddling in blender... tell me you see the vision... this would need to be printed in multiple pieces with a strong but flexible tpu, I think...
The reason that the tip cuts off is that it's following the "floppy ear" design, that end would be as long as you'd like & just flop over

skunks georg (you), who googles skunks 30,000 times a day, is an outlier and should not be counted
