19.05.2025 21:00 β π 15 π 7 π¬ 0 π 0I'm so glad she was safe!
My in laws moved away from Delmar & Goodfellow last year, it's really sad to see so much damage in a neighborhood we spent a lot of time in.
I'm teaming up with Caleb Givens (@calebgivens.bsky.social) and Tammy Jackson for the next Food Bank TUG! I'll be presenting a slightly updated version of my TC25 talk Relationships vs Joins vs Blends, including time for a lot of questions!

A great line from @bausili.bsky.social & Mat Hughes' classic Designing Efficient Production Dashboards whitepaper. A must-read for advanced Tableau development!

one of my favorite (maybe underrated?) announcements from Tableau Conference - the new community slack space. i think it will be one of the best spots to collaborate, find user groups, share work, and also tableau help! Learn more at tableau.com/community/slack

07.03.2025 03:28 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've deeply enjoyed seeing so many people take on the Binary Parameters #WorkoutWednesday challenge! Here are a couple innovations I saw:
- No Strings method based on 2^i from Tesshin Tableau
- Set the max character value with a parameter
Next up - finding a way to make the string length dynamic!
I've put together a quick write-up of how to use the new feature - I'm excited to rediscover people's profiles as they use this functionality! brittanyrosenau.medium.com/profile-orga...
04.03.2025 14:23 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I just finished a first round on my page!
I'll go back and subdivide again soon - I like your approach with more categories with a couple of rows each, and then the 'All' at the bottom!
What is this - an excuse to avoid going to sleep on time?!?
04.03.2025 04:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks! Each cell has an independent axis. This allows the user to see each 'heartbeat' and avoids lines being flattened by the largest or spikiest cell.
